Homebrew (Request) Voice Commands via Homebrew/CFW...if possible.

I have seen and heard all kinds of stuff involving the camera, but maybe it would be possible to do voice commands like with the Kinect. I believe the home menu has access to the microphone with the icon spinning feature.

Yeah, it has, but recognising the recorded sound would be quite a hassle.

They did. Nintendogs + cats allowed you to input voice commands to make your pets do tricks, such as sit, lie down, etc.

They did it in a couple of games I think.

No he was trying to see if there was sound coming from in and he wanted to measure it for something else, this is for the home menu, not an application launched from the homebrew launcher

Still the theory seems plausible...but I'm no developer, just curious if anyone had possibly done any research on this. Possible or not, still a great idea for the future.
