Homebrew Replacing the ROM on a DS Cart?

In that thread, all the guy is doing is flashing a GBA game to a GBA flash cart and sticking his own label on it. He doesn't use an actual game cartridge at any point.

ROM stands for Read Only Memory. In short, there is no way to rewrite it. Just use a slot-1 flash cart to play your games.

guess i'll post one more time heh.. You could prob swap out the rom for a tsop ect.. buttt
the id of the chip would probably get you.. ...so you would have to make some sort of boot loader
with some sort of micro processor..atmel ect.. or something that would intercept and send the chip id?! depends how the chip is being identified
as well


at first I thought off hand thats how they were nuking the fake cards by manufacture id of the chips.. also thought that was the reason of the updates to add a ongoing support of bigger chips as the games get bigger... 4g 8g 16g ect../adding more id's ...but I lack the knowledge right now..butttttt doing tonz of reading today.
