Hardware Replacing NAND for larger size? Eventually possible?

we all know that the NAND is removable from the switch. If someone could solder a new chip on and copy all of the protection keys over. It sounds theoretically possible

Nintendo would have to support it in their firmware, and I highly doubt any homebrew would be able to access it even if you could replace it.
