I've decided to fix my phat, and am at the point where I can get it to power on. The problem is that the battery seems to need charged, but the charge light will only stay lit for just over 1 second before shutting off (it's during this 1 second that I press the power button and see the green light turn on, that's how I know it's at the point where it can power on). Does anyone know what might be causing it to not charge?

Make sure the battery is properly seated and making proper contact. My DS does the 1 second on-off thing when the battery gets loose, I wedged a small piece of paper in there to keep it firm and haven't had any problems since.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
