go to %appdata% and delete the file DB.xml and download the Db from nswdb.com and rename that to DB.xml and pu tit in %appdata%

hmm, that issue i never had (and its kinda hard cause i do not speak french so the error code is not known. Eventually press on update db. if it doesnt work i would ask you to add the error log to the github

Read the error message, there is a invalid character in the XML file at line 1230 position 18. FIx that and it will work again.

I do not know if this goes here but it would be nice if hbl or another program was able to interpret xci files, nca directly from micro sd, in the system there is no specific launcher file? to the style * .exe * .bat or another executor that interprets the other files? I try to understand that cryptology complicates the operation but if the file lacked keys what would happen? for example a home game, maybe it's too soon to see it? exists? I hope no one gets upset by these questions

Little bump of this topic. I have the same error, which is due to a character in the db.xml :

The publisher is "Microïds", so i guess encoding issue.
In order to fix the problem, juste replace the line with
