While I have the DS version I also grew up with the NES version so nostalgia is strong...

not sure if anyone pointed it out yet, but snes9x is out and it works on the O3DS. the only downside is that games that use the SuperFX chip and the SA-1 chip run slowly but at playable speeds.

So uh... yeah might wanna update this tutorial now.

Not sure if anyone pointed it out yet, but this is a tool, not a tutorial, and it didn't currently support snes9x

Definitely the best and easiest to use tool available for this kinda thing.

Is there any ETA on when Snes9x will be integrated? Would love to have those since 1.1 seems to be running really well.

he's busy with school he's not gonna give an ETA and it shouldn't be expected

but if you must know in another one of his threads he said he'll be active again in about 10 days

Also, I didn't see an option in the program for cartridge art. If you're able to pull those too that would be cool.

I get an unhandled exception when exporting the cia with Snes9x Next (RetroArch version, not bubble2k16 one) or CATSFC as base emulator.

This is the log:

PocketSNES seems to create the cia, but wont open a modded SMK rom :/

i hope you can make another forwarder for GBA games for better compatibility (based on other emulator like what you did on this SNES forwarder), so that we dont need patching on GBA games that needs 128kb save.

cuz the current GBA VC injector has some issues on games using 128kb save such as pokemon that still needs patching, even save patch is applied there are still annoying errors apearing on pokemon firered and leaf green.

i hope its possible... thanks and have a nice day...

@Asdolo When is SNES9X support? oldSNES is to complicated to get working, and I run an old3DS.
And how about the cartridge art? I still have an art rip of SMRPG from when I tried to use oldSNES.

Thank you for all your work! Would love snes9x_3ds support for this tool. Having the options for resolution and turbo customization are lovely and I personally prefer that to standard VC injection

Why is it that after installing SMRPG with this method, when I go to open it, the Luma 3DS itself tells me there is an update for it

a) I haven't updated to 11.4 because im afraid the DS r4 will stop working (sorry if this is silly), so I cannot actually update it
b) what update is it? AFAIK, SMRPG isnt an official 3ds VC title ??

Am I missing something here ?

On a side note r4 (NDS games only) cards still work on 11.4

It wouldn't update, it would just fail after trying.
