I use photoshop with the Nvidia DDS plugin, but pretty sure gimp can too and there are various online services. Only requirement is to use DXT1 compression

Also I have a Lite, so not sure if the whole process is the same since I only see tutorials for the regular Switch.

I'm looking to create my theme, but I can't find how to make the player selection transparent since it asks for a jpg.

No it's not needed anymore, but on sx you need to check if your version supports the lockscreen patches, iirc only latest beta does but I don't really follow their updates

Just released Theme injector 4.5 and Installer 2.4 with support for 10.1.0

Uhm so there have been mutiple reports of latest version of the theme installer randomly crashing while installing a theme, i've opened an issue on github and posted a workaround which should fix it. If that build fixes crashes for you please let me know as it's not a trivial bug to hunt down, try on multiple theme installs.

I installed a theme and now my switch crashes on boot or I had a custom theme, then I updated my console and now it crashes on boot.
Delete the /titles/0100000000001000 and/or /titles/0100000000000811 folders from the cfw folder on your sdcard, at this point your console will boot up normally, to clean up any leftovers launch the theme installer and select uninstall theme.

so do i still do this if its in my contents folder?

You're supposed to download it from your pc and copy it to /switch/ on your sd card

Hello, i'm on 4.5.2 and i got a bug ( i think ) that i also got on the last version, that's for " RoundedSmallCompact " homescreen, everything was fine and set up, but the button to loggin to more games beside 6 standard lots is missing for me, like the image, i have tried so many times but the still nothing change. Sorry for my crappy english anw

I actually happen to use that specific layout for all of my themes and have never encountered that issue, though I can clearly see that the allapps button is not there.

This is probably irrelevant, but how many titles do you have installed? I know that the button only appears if you have more than x amount of titles installed on the switch. I think it's 8 titles but I'm not sure.

Otherwise, what Firmware and which version of Atmosphere are you running?
