Are there more plugins than what come with it that I should know about?
Does the cheat plugin work on CIA games?
Does the cheat plugin use Gateway or ARCode codes?

Cheat plugin yes, work even on CIAs.

I finally got around to doing this and I noticed that the CIA installs an app on my homescreen to open NTR CFW. Is there a way to make it automatically boot to it through RxTools so that unsigned CIAs can still be installed?

EDIT: And, uh, last question, hopefully. Where would I find the cheat plugin, and where would I put it?

NTR CFW has no effect on installing CIAs

There's the overclock plugin that helps speed up games for new3DS users.

No, you'll need to run it manually after booting rxTools. It's a 10 second process.

The plugins go in SD:/plugin/titleID/

in a simple way:
You have to download NTR CFW files and the Language Emulation Plugin (in the first spoiler)

then,create a "plugin" folder in your sd card root,and then in that folder create a "000400000012DE00" folder and put the "langemu_jp.plg" in that folder

Install BootNTR and run it

When using NTR to load out of region DLC/Game Updates but not cheats, will dlc and game updates be disabled when trying to go online with the out of region game causing any issues with the installed updates and dlc?

Because I've got a 9.2 n3DS with 9.5 emunand, I've got some retail games (cartridges) with 9.6+ update. Using NTR, is it possible to play those games? (Does it bypass the update prompt and just run the cartridge?)

No,using NTR with plugins will disable online,but not Updates/DLC

It doesn't work. BTW, I'm using the English patched (V3.0) Special Edition CIA with a DLCs + English patched Invisible Kingdom Add-on Content (this doesn't show up in the game). I've also installed the 1.1 update, not sure if I need that.
