Thanks to Marcus for the reply.

Now I do have one question, and it's regarding the charm.

See, I want to try and input a Soul Kinship L and Order Cost Down L charm.
What do I place for its ID?

Would be grateful for the help.

I have a project for anyone who knows C# and can throw together a simple Windows command line application (I can't code worth squat):

0) App should open a command prompt when opened, saying "MHST Checksum Fixer v1.0a by <app creator>", wait 2 seconds, then do step 1
1) App should accept input files via drag and drop, and accept the input file as the only argument if typed out on command line
2) App should check if input file is 0xc0b90 (789392) bytes. If not, abort with error code -2. If so, save file path to a variable of some sort or a file
3) App should copy bytes 0x40-0xc0b8f to a file named stdout.bin, then close the input file
4) App should use Powershell's Get-FileHash function to acquire the SHA-1 of stdout.bin and either 1) convert it to ASCII, and save it to stdin.bin as ASCII text or 2) use it as a variable of some sort, then close stdout.bin
5) App should convert the data in the file/variable to little endian, resave the file/save the result to another variable, then close stdin.bin
6) App should re-open the original input file that was saved to a variable/file, overwrite the 0x14 bytes from 0x0C to 0x1f with the little endian SHA-1 that was saved to file/variable, then close the input file
7) App should say "Checksum replacement complete! Press any key to exit.", wait for input, then exit the app if any key is pressed

This is a pretty simple app, and would only take a decent coder a day, maybe 2, to produce.

Already answered. Check 4 posts up from yours. OP hasn't been active in almost a year.

Edit: Also, a list of gene and item ID's can be found here (the item translations are WIP).

hmmmmm i'm using the eur version of the game and the stats of my first velocidrome going back to b4 everytime I'm importing the save and viewing my monstie party....
Any way to solve it?
And now its turned the monstie hp bar to red and put 0 hp...
I'm pretty sure it'll turn back to b4 values...

Also, if you like, I can share/add you to my googledocs spreadsheet where I was translating the items names (though I didn't really get any further than you have so far). By using the spreadsheet, it makes it easy to export by hiding/deleting the column with the japanese name and then copying the IDs next to the translated item names to paste into the editor's source files. also maybe enable the 'issues' tab on your github fork of the editor. I could have said this last part there if it was

whenever I'm importing my edited save the sats of my edited and after-hatch edited monties goes back to b4 values!
How can I fix that problem?

usually that means you didn't re-inject your edited save
what do you mean inject?
I just exported my exdata edited it and imported it back but the value decreased too

stats auto-update on battle start based on other values such as the HP IV, Level, etc. and thus revert any illegal values. Editing the raw stats wont work. To hit the max legal stats, set the monstie's level to 99 and HP IV to 9

In story mode I got it working with 9999 hp idk why now it wont work....
the rest like hp ect. iv and boosts was left as is

all raw stats (HP, attack, elemental attack, elemental resist, etc.) auto update. I already told you what needs done

for max legal stats, yes. You cant go over level level 99 and IVs act weird past the legal values. You can also set the Attack and Defense IVs to 9, if you like. Feel free to pick a stat and put 10 nutriments in it (the "power-up" fields) - just keep in mind you cant set all 3 'power-up' fields to 10 as the game only accepts the first 10 points (HP overrides attack and defense, attack overides defense) and reduces the rest. As soon as you enter battle, the rest will update.

what d'ya mean there are 3 power ups hp attack and deffence....
i didnt understand....
i need to write 10 in those fields??
can i balace the 3 power ups btw?
I put like 4,3,3 or 3,4,3 in power ups it won't update right?

there are 3 fields in the editor: Powerup-HP, powerup-atk, and powerup-def. They can only have a max of 10 totaled between them (any extra gets removed by the game). You can split it up if you want, but its ideal to dump all 10 points into one stat, as the bonus isn't all that much in smaller amounts

it will subtract any extra (over a total of 10) starting with defense. so if you set 4 to each stat (4+4+4=12) , it would subtract 2 from defense making the total 10 again (4+4+2=10). If you put 8 in all 3 fields (8+8+8=24) it would remove all 8 in defense and subtract 6 from attack to make 10 (8+2+0=10). if theres already 10 in powerup-HP, both powerup-atk and powerup-def will drop to 0.

in all cases, these are just modifiers that add extra stats. leaving them 0 is perfectly fine and you wont really miss anything.
