Been trying to get this to work all day, ended up finally getting it up and running but the fps was extremely unstable (starting at 40 and dropping to 1-9 then stopping soon afterwards) so I went out and bought a usb wifi dongle, I installed the drivers, created a Hosted Network sharing it with my ethernet connection (150 Down 10 Up,though I understand numbers don't really matter in this case), got my 3DS to connect to it, and booted NTR Selector 3.4 but on CTR-v (1.2.2, didn't get to try it on previous version) it constantly fails to establish the connection, I went back to trying just with my regular router and it worked, of course with the same crappy framerates. Help would be greatly appreciated ;~;
Doing it on a N3DSXL with A9LH, currently using PabloMK7 Banner 2.3 NTR-Selector, I also have the FONZD Banner 2.3 as well.
I should prolly get on that project with my buddy on here to take note on what dongles people have bought and what speeds they got. Anyways there's a few things with the hosted network via ctrv you have to do. After you first set it up and you have a hosted network running, you won't have internet connected to it (even if it says you do, I've never had internet connected to it unless i did the following).
1. Share internet to your hosted network (dongle) from your main internet (ethernet)
2. Set your 3DS to have a static IP (dongles don't have "router settings")
3. Make sure your dongle connection and your 3ds connection are both a private connection.
1. You have to make sure you share the internet connection with your dongle (also I have to do this each and every time i restart the hosted network, reconnect the dongle, or restart my pc). It always had failed to work, even if i know I'm locally connected to the dongle it fails to connect without proper internet? It's weird.
Here's an example:

2. The other issue I had started to encounter was that my IP address kept changing so to remedy that,
on your 3ds go to System Settings --> Internet Settings --> Connection Settings --> [Main connection]
Change your settings for the IP address and DNS [via DETAILED SETUP]. The IP address can by anything so long as it falls under an ip address that your dongle will pick up
here's an example of getting a proper IP address:

here's what my 3ds internet settings look like:
https://i.gyazo.com/fd8511c58afebf6f06fbfcf213541257.png
3ds ip can be 192.168.137.XXX in this case
Subnet mask is defaulted to 255.255.255.0
gateway needs to be your dongles IP address (shown above it's 192.168.137.1)
the DNS servers need to be the DNS servers from your main connection. (won't post that here, go look at it yourself.)
3. I completely forgot how to change it back and forth from public and private network. I will edit later for others to see how. or someone can tell me in a further post
Your settings may vary to mine these are just examples of course.
After you try these settings, restart hosted network once again, and put in the correct 3ds IP in the settings for ctr-v.
A little bonus: my personal settings i have for ctr-v/ntrDebugger to make bottom screen not look like shit

I'm currently testing the difference between QoS at 100 and at 101. So far setting it to 100 makes the FPS stablized (haven't seen "lag spikes" where fps would drop to 14-22 fps for a split second using QoS val=100).
