Homebrew [Release]JK's SaveManager - Homebrew CIA Save manager.

I failed miserably. I had version 0 of Pokemon Sun, played 6 hours worth, deleted the CIA, installed the version 32, lost my save. I figured I didn't need to back anything up and that my save would still be there......

Is there anything I can do? How do I make sure this doesn't happen again moving forward.

If possible, where can I find existing saves of somewhere close to where I last left off (beating the 1st island's grand trial)

Technically, when deleting the game, it ask if you want to create back up save data. that were yiu screwed up.
If you said yes, then deleted then reinstall, you don't have to use jksm

Hey, since I have Freakyhax, I can only use the 3DSX version of the Homebrew App. For some reason, when I load JKSM, I can only pick the title I want to save (like the save_manager) and not go into the actual program to save things from the System Titles or even change any settings in the application (such as the colour of fonts even). I've already done this on a 3DS with the same system updates and the whole config shows up. Both 3DS' have the same homebrew and have the same method of getting in, is there something wrong here?

Has anyone figured out yet how to bypass the Yellow Screen for Pokemon S/M for those of us with older firmware(I have 9.2) on older 3DS models(My 2DS is my homebrew system, though I do have an unmodded n3DS). I have the browserhax, I'm not sure if that counts as having CFW, I'm not very well versed in this kind of thing, I have to use a very hand-holdy guide to get where I am now. btw the program works just fine on my 6th Gen Pokemon games.

How exactly would I install this? 3dsXL version 11.2.0-35U. Im trying to use this to move saves around so i can change the gender of my trainer in the game(have learned since starting that i like the customization options. had chosen male at start not knowing of later customization but hating the base female)

So I just recently updated my old3ds to 11.2.0-35U as well as OotHax that uses the 11.1 payload, everything works fine, but the problem is when I use JKSM with my Omega Ruby it freezes. I even tried using another app (save_manager) and the same problem happens, anyone know any solutions?

You need use Pokemon Bank.

I'm a total noob at this, but would like to copy my pokemon OR cartridge save and move that onto a CIA pokemon OR I downloaded from the freeshop.

When I open JK Save Manager in the homebrew launcher it only shows one copy of pokemon OR. Can anyone help with the steps I would need to take to do this?

Also, should I be copying both export save and export ext data for every game I will want to create save files for?

Export from cartridge first. Then refresh titles and import into SD/CIA. You probably wont see the game in SD/CIA until you refresh.

I've yet to come across a game that requires the ext data.

Awesome thanks, I had JUST figured it out. I think I may have accidentally downloaded an old version that i'm using in my homebrew launcher not the new CIA version that sounds like it differentiates between cartridge and digital.

Thanks for this save manager. It really saved my life in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire which my savegame got corrupt by itself.
Was just thinking about that, I have multiple 3DSs, XL to play at home, non-XL to travel with me. Would it be possible to implant a cloud saving system?
Linked with a google drive for exemple. I would like to transfer my savedatas from my XL to my non-XL "on the go" without using my computer.

This usually happens when a homebrew CIA app and official game/app share the same title id.

They share the same short name, so if we backup 2 or 3 games at once, the 2nd backup will delete the first, and the third backup will delete the 2nd.
Idk if you see what I mean.

Possible to add a fix like if JKSM detect some same short names in a multiple backup selection, and 1 2 or 3 to the backup folder name?

I don't even know why it's not already working. Using CFW and the CIA version would work for certain, though, not much reason to stay on 9.9 when you can downgrade and install A9LH.

IIRC Smealum already did a working POC, but he's on a business trip and can't work on it right now.

I noticed that 11.2 payload released recently and I just updated with new payload, but still get yellow screen with PASLRed games.

It'd be possible to use the title id to add the Conquest, Birthright, and SE to the end of the title, I guess. As for when I'd get to it, I don't know right now.

I have a 3DS that is now bricked (sleep mode problem). Is it possible to salvage saves of the games in the SD card from it and inject them in another 3DS?
