So I guess it's not possible to change your brightness settings in a homebrew launcher? Or has no one tried that yet?
Sorry, I'm a noob. I don't really know these things. :P

The problem was the "wave" animation quite literally breaks when you press any direction on the + Control Pad or tilt the Circle Pad in any direction.
Frigging nonsense. If this is genuinely unintentional, I'd be really impressed. The tweak suggested by suloku simply moves the entire wave effect to the left slightly so that the beginning of the wave is off-screen. Previously (or currently, if you're still running smea's hbmenu), the left-hand side looks a little janky and un-water-like.

If I do download this, will I still have access to the eShop?

Is there a possibility of:
-Changing the sorting of the internal apps (not homebrew)?
-Creating folders for them?
-Returning to HBL after closing an internal app? (I really believe this isn't possible, but doesn't hurt to ask)

Also when I try to select regionFour nothing happens. May this be because it's a DS cartridge? If yes, can you make regionFour launching DS cartridges?

I ask these questions because I'm thinking of booting HBL directly through themehax, replacing the 3DS' menu.

Well, the water animation when a button is pressed REALLY annoys me. Can an option be added to disable it?

I don't think regionFour even supports DS carts, It doesn't support it in Smeas launcher so I'm not sure whether it can be implemented

Turn off animated water in settings? Only way I can see to prevent it

I think my favorite PS1 enhancement is sub pixel precision, helps get rid of some of those wobbly polygons lol

@Psionic Roshambo, By default, the polygons are filtered with differing to simulate depth, which doesn't make them clearer.

There are ways to disable this by creating cheat codes, but this requires knowledge of the PS1 hardware.

Emulation is the way to go for so many reasons NES get rid of flicker by turning off the sprite per line limit. Cheats? Ken Batocera is your friend almost every console has cheats in it
