Having a weird bug now.
When in system titles when navigating through with left or right shoulder it skips the first row of titles and when I push left on d-pad to get back to that row it completely skips them over to the previous page.

Absolutely, I'll do it now. I've been meaning to do it actually but keep forgetting

Also great update! Now I can use that great feature. Preload titles didn't work for me.

By the way, I've successfully reproduced the bug with hanging or system errors if you launch an app before the title loader has finished populating. I didn't have enough titles on my 3DS to test it and it would have taken too long to download loads of demos from the eShop, so I hacked the title menu populating code to add each title ten times I'm working on a fix right now.

Would it be possible to have animated backgrounds in custom themes? I think rotating triforce pieces would be pretty sweet. (See LTTP title screen)

Sorry I didn't see this post. Does it do it if you wait for the background load to finish? Or if you disable background loading?

It happens with either option. Either preload or load after choosing.

It's not happening on main screen with homebrew.
Only on the screen with system titles.

Does it do it on save manager title menu? And what about title filter settings?

I wish I could just make you a video of what's happening. I might try that somehow in the next few days if possible but don't count on it.

Likely this is a fault of *hax2.5 itself and NOT your wonderful little launched, but I felt it should be noted as a warning.

Randomly when using the emergency exit command (L+R+Down+B) usually the second time in one hax session, it locks on this screen. A part of me thinks this is exclusive to non-smea HBL menus but I wonder if anyone has input otherwise.

Can you try doing the same thing within the filtering menu itself? And the title menu when you select SVDT?

That being said, I had an issue a few days ago where the buttons in the corner didn't react to touch at all, but I haven't been able to replicate the issue. It's worked fine ever since.
Maybe it's related to those touched buttons in the help menu not working?

These kinds of issues are really hard to debug without more information. If you're having these kinds of problems please post your HW, FW, hax type and version, and what specifically happened to trigger the problem. Without that information, I can only poke around randomly at the code and hopefully fix something rather than make it worse...

I've just uploaded beta 66, which includes bugfixes to background title loading:

• Pausing and resuming title loading should work properly now
• Launching an app while background loading is paused should now force the background load to cancel and the thread to die (therefore preventing a hang in this situation)

I had thoses problems using Browserhax, but only once. (didn't even re-downloaded)
It works now.

Suggestion:

• Add a particular background while being in the help section, since text is drawn.

When you had to manually edit ignoredtitles.txt, you had to input the entries you didn't want to see. Since changing to the GUI editor for ignored titles, you tick the titles you want to be visible.
