I got rednand setup but not sure how to download dlc that will install.

i haven't tested any of this stuff on a wii u since i don't have one (i only made this for the community )
i have had confirmation my generated, illegal tickets work for a game, so i can only assume it works for dlc too, i don't see why not.
but yes, make sure you are using the rednand with signature patches, not without.

Yeah I'm sure I'm using rednand with sig patches, well I managed to install System Config Tool and run it with out any issues. The mario kart dlc errors every time for me, I'm going to try smash bros with its dlc next and see what happens.

i don't think i got definite confirmation on unlegit dlc, but i'm pretty sure @NWPlayer123 told me unlegit games installed ok.
and i can't see how dlc would be any different :/ it would be nice to get another tester, but if it's not possible to install at the moment, that is a shame.

I'm sure I seen a post from someone today saying that smash dlc worked fine with rednand with sig patches, so I just assumed that the mario kart dlc would as well.
Will report back what happens with smash dlc.

ah in that case i see no reason why one dlc would work and another wouldn't... yeah, see if the smash dlc DOESN'T work for you, and if so, try and fix your problem

So I went and grabbed the files with nusgrabber instead and just copied the title.tik that came from funkiiu and it installed perfect, so funkiiu didn't download the complete files for me some how.

Mario Kart dlc working perfect now.

Hi, I modified the function download_file a bit to allow skipping already downloaded files.
It seems ok, but bear with me, since it's my first time with python.

- Added region thing in first place in name folder
- Download euro version only

Just put -eur instead of -all

Can be easly modified to usa or jpn

ok, a few days ago it would have worked fine but i made something 'neater', which was wrong.
i fixed it, and i am now certain it would work ok... i promise!
good to hear my ticket file worked. the dlc was all perfect, 100% of stuff unlocked... great enjoy

but yes, i was planning on adding region info, i would personally add to the end, maybe in front is a good idea. i'm not sure. @GaramondFR
about the skipping downloaded files... yes ok, i'll look into it, an -option to use it at least. i'll check your code thanks @JConnor

i'll add a -nodownload option, i had that in my 3ds tools, i stripped a lot out for the wii u version.
good idea (from you asking, i take it that webpage to generate the ticket DOESN'T make good dlc tickets then?)

Can you install mk8 dlc to system nand using the gui with "Patch DLC" box checked in the options before downloading? or could it brick your wiiu trying.

-interactive: FunKiiU will ask for the needed parameters one by one
-updates: FunkiiU will only download the latest update for a specific game from NUS
