I always just only back up the save data, not sure if extdata is needed, I'm probably not the best person to ask about what to back up haha

But so far just exporting/importing save data only has done me well

If the key is already available why don't you just go to site, scan the QR code in FBI and download?

Already did it but I just installed freeshop so I was only curious about how it worked. I wasn't complaining or anything !

So to avoid a ban just in case, I deleted the Pokemon Sun from Lurantis and got what I'd assumed was the pre-load from Freeshop. Even the description said it was a pre-load. Launched it to see the time remaining just for kicks, but it actually seems to be letting me play the game.

I booted out before possibly getting myself banned since wireless was on, but I'm just wondering what's up and are things still safe for tomorrow?

I'm not going to bother adding any preloading stuff, which is why Sun/Moon wasn't added until today. It should work for everyone, but you may want to avoid online features until it's released in your region.

Just a technical question, why do you have to add the game manually if it need to add the enc key from the 3ds title key ?

The ticket is installed via freeshop too, open fbi and search for the old moon ticket at 0004000000175E00 and then delete it before downloading the game from freeshop.

freeShop deletes any ticket before installing its own generated ticket. So you don't have to do anything except backup/restore your game save if you're wanting that.

It's the Japanese/AUS version from their respective eShop. It's legit and safe since the game is the same for all regions
