Hi TheCruel‚ can I help doing the French translation ?

Thanks

Hi Niels Van Son,
A French translation for freeShop has already been done by several members (including me). You can find it here. ;)
It has been reviewed already but don't hesitate to contact us if you see some mistakes. :)

So I have the latest version of freeShop and at first it was downloading and installing things perfectly, but recently if it goes longer than maybe 10 minutes it stops the download and gives an "Internet Problem" error message. I was wondering if it's anything other than my home internet being the problem. I could very well see it being an issue on my end, but if it's fixable otherwise then that'd be great.

If you have slower internet, you'll want to go to download settings and lower the buffer size. The default is 128KB (which is normally optimal is seems), perhaps try 32KB if your connection isn't great.

Conversely, people with fast internet (especially on the n3ds) may want to try increasing it to see if it helps with download speeds.

EDIT: keep in mind when you change settings, they aren't saved until you navigate away from them. So if the settings page is still open while you queue up a download, it won't use the new changes you just made to settings.

eh can nintedo log your ip since your downloading from their servers with out paying and ban or get you into trouble

2.1.1 now released with new languages:
https://github.com/Cruel/freeShop/releases/tag/2.1.1

Also, it will load game descriptions in your selected language which is cool. Of course, not all games will have your language.
For Spanish/Portuguese people, both USA and EUR region games will often have it. Most other non-English languages will have to use EUR. But I used Mexico and Brazil country codes for USA region so they still work. :)

After the new update, my O3DSXL freezes on "Loading game list" and gives me this error message. I tried reinstalling, but it gives me the same error

It shouldn't be crashing with 2.1...
That's odd.

Nevermind, it probably would crash trying to downgrade the title.
2.1.1 is rebuilding now, should be done soon and you'll have to reinstall it. Sorry.
