What happens when a download is interrupted?

Was downloading Bravely Second but it got stick at 75%.

Does the incomplete download is somewhere taking space?

I've seen a bug (usually when I have odd internet issues) where it freezes progress. If you exit freeShop and reopen it, the download usually continues. However, when freeShop completely freezes (buttons aren't responsive) then the current download progress is lost. The partially downloaded data is managed by the system, freeShop can only recover it under certain conditions (namely the condition of the download being properly suspended and not crashing).

I see. But yes, freeShop crashed. I had to hard reset the console :/

I don't mind waiting again, I'm more concerned about the incomplete download taking space, but if the system manages it, I presume it deleted it.

Thanks for the reply!
