Hi, where did the enctitlekeys updater program go? I can't find any thread about it (my bookmark isn't working anymore) and the version I have says it's outdated.

I'm guessing it violated one of rules, eventually.. You'll just have to get or manually

No. CIAngel downloads and makes a CIA, then installs it iirc. FreeShop installs directly.

No, CIAngel has three modes. Download (Create a CIA), Install (Install directly, without file creation) or Ticket (Install just the ticket).

No ciangel installs directly just like this, it's just that it also has the option to create a cia on your sd. Which is technically useless at this point but wtv options don't hurt.

Well I mean useless as in you could have easily used funkeycia or wtv to download the same file and do everything on the computer directly. But like I said in reality no "extra feature" is technically useless

I don‘t think there is barrier for searching Japanese titles now.

No game per sé "needs" an update, you can as well start it without the update. But you can just go for it, as long as you are on latest EmuNAND and can connect to eShop. No problem.

Don't worry. Just install that update directly from eshop/homemenu (if you haven't installed any unclean pokemon Y update CIA before).

Does anyone know the reason why Freeshop displays only the USA and Jap versions of monsters hunter generations? My enctitlekey.bin is up to date but I can't download in any way the European version. Are the European and American version the same thing? Thanks in advance

Probably nobody has contributed the titlekey of the Eur version. Why not contribute and buy the game then add the titlekey to the database?

Yeah or maybe people should stop asking why a certain game isn't there. If is not there then is not there, plain and simple. But as @Quantumcat No one has contributed the title key for that specific one, that is why. If you don't understand what that means...

the enctitlekeys.bin is a compiled list of all the Nintendo 3ds Eshop/DSI ware games that is used to find the specific game on NDS (Nintendo domain name servers, the online area where you download the game to the system) It contains the necessary information to obtain them without using eshop. If you want the specific title, someone would have to download the game from eshop (Yes it means pay for it) To recive the title key on system, then use a homebrew program to extract the encrypted title keys and anonyoumsly share it with the one to compile it to the master enctitlekey.bin which is what she means by "Contribute to the cause" That is the only way the games you may want on freeshop to ever show up there. Is not gonna just show up cause you want it there for free or cause is already available on eshop offical. So if anyone reading this don't see a game they want up there, you know why now. Okay?

You can either go buy the game if you really want it or wait until is available.

Why would you use freeshop to install the game then want to use eshop to do the same thing?
if you wanna buy the game then delete it and go buy it from eshop.
