I have just installed this for the first time and it is really good my only nag is really, the sleep mode problem, it interupts downloading cause its limited download speeds is only about above 1MB/s so is there anyway to stop the sleep mode from happening? I have noticed if you connect your adapter to your 3ds it will keep downloading in sleep mode, apart from that without it, it stops. Thanks

Edit: it must of been me I must of shut the lid, I forgot. Forget the question it works :)

A question, does freeshop download the region game that it finds its CFW on? how does it know which region to download and can you download out of region, say for example you have Pokemon X & Y and you have EU, USA etc.. can you choose which region to download or does freeshop choose automatically?

you can see the region of the game by looking at the flag. some games like Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS are already region-free by default.

pokemon don't make difference because they are the same, but other games you can
The only problem is lack of a japanese keyboard so finding specific japanese game is hard :B (for example, JPN pokemon red... it show the USA as region free, but AFK, we can't play in japanese (or maybe hans?:B idk but the region free like pokemon suffer or rumble world can if you dohans or gw bug it )

What I mean say Pokemon X you have 3 region flags next to it, Jap, US, EU but you cannot highlight and install which region you want so I presume it just downloads which region your 3ds CFW is on cause how does it know which region to grab for your 3ds?

Edit: I understand you, it installs a region free file but others you can choose. I have only just installed it and picked pokemon I have not really looked yet at anything else that was the confussion.

no, it means Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS are not region-specific, i.e. all regions get the exact same title.

Yes I got there in the end! what your saying is it installs a region free source whether others you can choose. Sorry I have only just installed freeshop and looked at Pokemon X straight away that was my confusion.

@TheCruel is their any plans to do most downloadable games and multiplayer games tab for freeshop?
eShop doesn't have download stats, and I don't have plans on hosting my own server for that, so can't sort by "most downloaded" if that's what you mean. You will be able to sort by rating vote count, which would probably be roughly similar to the most downloaded.

And I don't know what you mean by "multiplayer games tab". There will eventually be a "features filter" with features shown by eShop.

For example, Super Smash has the following features: Supports Online Play, Displays 3D Visuals, Supports Local Play, Supports StreetPass, Supports SpotPass, Mii, Nintendo Network, amiibo.

So you'll be able to filter to show only game that have local/online play or something like that. That won't be in this next version though because eShop doesn't provide a list of all possible features. I'll have to think of something for that, and probably compile by own and add it to the cache.

This has a Download Queue, CIAngel downloads "good" cias from Nintendo, where this doesn't. There's several other technical differences between the two.
Are you sure this doesn't download good cias? If you install a game with freeshop delete it then go reinstall it from eshop and it works then it should be a good cia right?

IIRC, CIAngel allows you to not only install them, but download usable CIAs

i havent used cmake for anything im a bit used to how you compile thinsg like Luma/Decrypt9/etc. is there a guide for compiling freeShop from source?

Hi, where did the enctitlekeys updater program go? I can't find any thread about it (my bookmark isn't working anymore) and the version I have says it's outdated.
