I would not use 2.4.3 for the DSiWare use any game exploit, this was in the changelog
Delete existing file instead of overwriting when pasting. Fixes pasting into extdata.
What this means is that the overwrite method used to get the system transfer to transfer the modded game (because the size matches) will not work anymore when using FBI 2.4.3

@Steveice10 You're welcome to use my QR installer Python script in your project: https://github.com/svanheulen/sockfile_python
It works in Python 2.x and 3.x, only has one external requirement (pyqrcode), doesn't use your web browser, and you can even just drag-and-drop the CIA onto the script in Windows.

Edit: Ah, I see yours allows multiple files. I'll add that ability to my script.

Noob here:

If I want to update to the latest release, do I have to inject FBI as H'n'S, delete the old app and then install the CIA, or just install the latest CIA with the current version of FBI and then delete the old one afterwards?

I'm on al9h and luma 6.6

Out of curiosity, have you ever used the QR code/URL installer, and if so, does it perform faster than the regular network installer?

Testing that out now with the latest FBI. Installing RE:Revelations from QR with the stopwatch set on my phone. Will then try with 1.4.17 and network install to compare times.

If I want to update to the latest release, do I have to inject FBI as H'n'S, delete the old app and then install the CIA, or just install the latest CIA with the current version of FBI and then delete the old one afterwards?

Just update it using the update feature within FBI itself. If you're using an older version without the update feature, just install the latest using FBI that's injected into HnS. You will end up with two versions that way, but the HnS version is good to have as a safeguard anyway. Dang. I need to think before I post sometimes, so I dont need to make 500 edits. :P

Thank you for your reply. I'll check it out once I get off from work :)
