Short story: You can't use FBI on 11.0.0-33. You need to downgrade.

Long story: You need to either find someone who has a custom firmware 3DS to do the DSiWare Downgrade, get a hardmod, sell your current system and get one with 10.7.0-32 or lower, or wait for a 11.0 kernel exploit (good luck with that).

So um I can't install DQ8 on my 3ds. I'm on emunand but this is the only CIA i'm having issues with? It automatically fails. I've downloaded other JPN games on my EU 3ds before.

I've seen one before, but it had a dark "theme". Standard FBI 2.0 would be great.

No, FBI 2.0 can use themes. The NAND build I mentioned used a dark theme where the white would be swapped with a dark grey or black.

Yes you can back up savedata from games. Use the title management system, Select a game.

Blue = Game card
Green = Installed CIA 3DS games on sd card
Red = NAND istalled files (Best not to mess with it unless you know what you doing)
Purple = DSI ware or DS related stuff. (Also on NAND, safe to touch)

Then select browse save data then select current directory and click copy. Select SD card and paste it somewhere on it.

You'd have to compile it yourself from source. IIRC, directions are in the readme.md.

make sure game rating is not set specifically.

Are you using lumaCFW? You need a patch for the TWL thing that luma does, to install those. IS a DSI or GBA game? I know is not 3DS

Yes I'm using lumaCFW but the error appears when I install 3ds games.

Try an older version of fbi. You know, the one without the new gui. That should fix the issue
