You might to try that on the new Nintendo 3DS folder that has nothing on it. Remove all traces of HOME Menu homebrew CIAs and run the .3dsx version of Cthulhu to clear all the cache. Then enter Nintendo eShop and try the Update eShop Music on freeShop.3dsx again.

unfortunately It didn't work but the cthulhu app is pretty handy im gonna keep that and it's fine im just gonna leave it the way it is, thanks for the help tho.

System update? Is your 3DS on an open firmware lower than 11.7.0-40E? What does the bottom right corner say in System Settings?

We have discovered freeShop has it listed but not yet on eShop. You know the rest of what happens when you play a title before official release. For anyone who mistakenly downloaded and/or launched USA WarioWare Gold demo, please uninstall both its Title and Ticket with FBI and use Cthulhu the cache clear everything.

Edit - Okay, so the demo is multi-regional for JPN, EUR, and USA. In any case, good practice is to not try this if you're a USA region user.

Hi guys. I recently ran into some issues with my N3DS and had to reformat my mSD. I was able to restore stuff, but it was from about a year ago. I think I have an older version of Freeshop installed. Anyway, how do I install newer Freeshop and update it to latest? Any help greatly appreciated.

Side question: Can I use Freeshop to update games, even those not from Freeshop?

And yes, freeshop can be used to update games. Just know some games may have newer updates that aren't found in that title site's cache database. You can either update by pressing (Y) after launching those titles *at HOME Menu, or try your luck with updates found at that iso site.

Did you follow the post I linked? If you used an old freeShop like v2.2.0, it has a folder different than what' used now. There might be conflict between the two if both are present.

OH, i mistaken your flag flair for Poland, thus the E instead of U or J. XD

Even though your 3DS is on the latest firmware, try updating it anyway in System Settings > Other Settings > System Update. It should tell you "this system is up to date" and then stop nagging you afterwards.

If freeShop still has issues with sleep mode, try reinstalling it from scratch:

Dont know right off if its on there yet. But you can also go to that site and download the qr code of the encrypted file they have there to get the game aswell.

Try using CIAngel. https://github.com/llakssz/CIAngel/releases

Edit: Toad Treasure Tracker from the eShop is on that title key site. So it'll download through CIAngel no problem. With FreeShop, you have to wait until the devs update the cache.

It's pretty simple. Be connected to WiFi, then start CIAngel. When asked to download the JSON, hit yes. Then there are on-screen directions for toggling your region, download as a CIA, etc. You can search by many things, but I always recommend by title. The benefit of this, again, is to not have to wait for FreeShop devs to update their cache (even if this is automatic, it still doesn't happen instantaneously). I hope you had a positive experience!

I installed version 4.1.3 that was in git. I should install with the file .cia or .3dsx ?
I created the key of the console and copied it to the folder "freeshop/keys" when opening the freeshop only 4 games appear
Do I have to use the public keys?
