I'm on 1.5.0, but this should work too. Just replace your settings.bin with this one. It will overwrite your emulator settings, so be sure to configure it again (mainly the language and region).

It comes from the Xbox 360 controller RT and LT triggers, I try to put ZR on RB and ZL on LB and everything works.

I've just checked the settings.bin file and it appears to be written based on the system language (so if, for example, your system language is Portuguese [like mine], the settings.bin is written in portuguese). That may be the reason why it's not working...

Or maybe it isn't? idk...

I tried booting it in 1.5.0. It didn't work, sadly?
Now on 1.5.1... People said that no new games were booting so probably it isn't booting in 1.5.1 either :\

It's working here. Might be like the old issue where lights are replaced with blue square shaders at random. (works most of the time)
