Oh wait... Patreon Cemu doesn't runs properly if you're not connected in internet...
And when it's conected it's sending data?
If that's really truth it's a lot abusive with true patron contributors, don't is?
Now I understand why some people decided to not contribute with the project anymore...
That's a lot shameful if it's confirmed :(

The devs are allowed to protect their IP. You free loaders need to get over your entitlement to everything that you can get your grubby little mitts on. Not only that, but the DRM is also to the benefit of patreon member's. If you're donating, would you be happy with someone getting something for free that you contribute to financially?

This isnt open source, if you dont like it, then go make your own emulator.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I though it was a shit leak
While I not agree with some DRM policies in the project, I'll not respect leakers

A lot of problems with your statement:
1- The problem is not the author "protecting" their work. It's change usability of the software that some people is paying on to use, just to "gain more money"
2- You clearly don't know what "open-source" really means, and don't know the differences between "open-source" and "free software"
3- It's not about "the poor developer". It's about abusive politics with people contributing.
In my case, I just waiting the monetary changes with my local currency become more favorable to help financially with the project, but knowing that they are not even respecting people that is contributing, I'm not too much inclined to do so
I have the right to choose where my money is been putting and I have the right to choose to not help a project that allow abusive DRM to his own donators...
And as I say, is not "wrong". But a lot sad that this went this way... :(

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Finally that end well. :D My suggestion was accepted!
But hey, at least no more pesky leakers leaking around.
I think that there's nothing more disgusting than people which have "pride" about be a "DRM defender"

If you run the emulator disconnected from internet this happen:

The emulator run in slow mode

If you run connected to internet it works OK:

That's the shameful DRM which emulator started to use
You not allowedto run without internet conection anymore or it will not run properly :(

I've made a quick Google search and found CEMU 1.4.2 available for download... It works, sadly...

So yea, looks like the new DRM system doesn't do it's job. Or does it?
