Xenoblade X run at full speed nao but 30FPS is a little bit too slow for my taste. 35FPS(120% speed) would be nice.
I hope we could have frame limit option soon but I'm not in a hurry. This game isn't as good as the original Xenoblade and I can wait until Cemu reaches milestone

I can't get ANY games to work on all with my RX480. Last working version for me was 1.6.0.

Does it still crash if you use a save from a previous version?
I noticed with Captain Toad Tresure Tracker it crashes before it can even write GameData.bin to e7a9f87a
leaving the save folder empty, if I use the save from 1.5.6b it gets to the select stage screen but still crashes when it trys to load the stage, so maybe something has broken write / save reading for some games???

You may be right. Games DO start to load initially, but then crash after 10 seconds or so. I don't get an option to load anything as it's already crashed by then, at least with all the games I've tried so far.

Oh my god, rpcs3 can play another game! What's the total up to now...like 3? Wow. You are right, that progress is killing Cemu and the tens of games it can play.

You know nothing of software/emu development by your ignorant, insulting comments. If you knew anything, you would know Cemu is focused on the gfx frontend and trying to finish that before moving onto the time consuming tasks of add more games to it's already extensive list. But once they do, the gfx issues should be far and few in between.

Also, if you opened your eyes, you would know that a lot of Wii-U's biggest games are fully playable (NSMB, SM3DW, Mario Maker, Mario Kart, DK, Zelda, etc., etc.). Your computer is probably just to weak, or you've never used the emu or you're just not smart enough to operate it. Xenoblade get better every few weeks - sorry it's not 100% perfect on your schedule.

Why don't you just go ahead and leave and go follow the "progress" of rcpcs3 child. I'm sure you'll be much happier.

By any chance would you be missing your meta folder? Starting in 1.6.0 missing a meta folder/not having a proper dump could cause issues.

Cemu has only been around for a year and plenty of exclusives are playable at full speed with little to no issues on an emulator using opengl. Just out of curiosity though, how well does Bayonetta perform on RPCS3 in opengl and DX12/Vulkan? How does it compare to Bayonetta in Cemu/in my past videos?

I'm starting to think Cemu has issues with the Vicious engine tbh. (this includes Ben 10 Omniverse 1 and 2, and both Pacman Ghostly Adventures 1 and 2)
Surprisingly these games tend to be near/at full speed and with proper audio, but missing animations entirely and only seem to render textures properly on AMD hardware.

Did anyone finished any big games on cemu? Xeno X is the only games I will play on cemu.
Catherine is a big jrpg with great story similar to persona & playable to the end.


Lets face it. Which games people want to play more?
Ps3 has so many better games.

The day rpcs3 plays persona 5, cold steel, Last of us & god of war 3, nobody is going to pay attention to cemu.

Wii had good games thats why dolphin is popular.
Can't say the same thing for cemu.

yes, with me too, so try play with two or four players in window mode and fullscreen after, the diference is great.

@John1234 Chill out man! You're off topic . This is not RPCS3 thread and btw as far as I could tell , only 1 PS3 game that works perfectly and that is Metal Slug 3
As for Cemu , I have finished MK8 without an issue (all characters/courses unlocked)
idk about other games but with latest Cemu , Mk8 and Xenoblade can reach full speed now
And if you think you will get good performance with good hardware right out of the box , you're severely mistaken! You have to make sure both CPU and GPU are fully used by Cemu
As for Nvidia GPU , you must enable "Prefer maximum performance Nvidia processor" otherwise your GPU will be underclocked by default

No I extracted the wud myself with vgmtoolbox, although i'll could retry with the wud but need to free up some space first,
the log shows complaints of not being able to find some of the LayoutData .szs files even though they exist in the folder, even tries reading for Japanese translation files /vol/content/LocalizedData/JPja/ even though the Eu and Us releases have none.
It doesn't exactly crash the emulator it's self as it's still running with no crashlog but rather it crashes the nvidia display driver and hangs.
Also anybody know how HiAlgoSWITCH works to boost framerates for dx9 games?, it seems to be switching it from progressive to interlaced maybe the same could done for OpenGL?

what are your specs? cemu 1.6.2 should've speeded up games a little bit, not slow them down

Ps3 has so many better games.

It lacks Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

The few games I cared about that are on the PS3 also have a PC version so I have just gone with that so for me it doesn't have the better games. The only one I would consider would be(you guessed it) Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD, but I can play that on PPSSPP so I got my fix for that already

But yeah, why would a person who doesn't care about emulators waste time commenting on a forum thread about an emulator? (rhetorical question).

you have to disable the controllers, so after a green screen or a black screen you activate the controller, you´ll notice, then everything is normal.
