Guys this emu wont be working untill about 2 years. Go buy a wii u
Once it goes from interpreter to dynarec, it will be blazing fast, considering that people with modern setups can achieve between 15 - 30 FPS now. To achieve those speeds on an emulator running in interpreter mode is crazy fast. There are some people with blazing fast computers that are getting even better speeds than this, and most people not getting the 15 - 30 FPS range are still living in the stone age of computers. I can't speak for the author, but I am assuming he has some kind of dynarec version already that runs games at full speed, but isn't quite ready to release it, afraid of the looks he would get from Nintendo at this point, since the NX isn't out yet.
The emulator already works, rather well, not having dynarec and implementing more functions is the only thing keeping it from being "perfect". It doesn't need 2 years, it just needs the reigns taken off, and that all depends on how long the author takes to decide to finally do it. Also by keeping it in this state, it is easier to fix problems when it is a straight interpreter, and will only make the dynarec version, if it's ever made or released, even better. I can't tell the author what to do, but if it was open source like Dolphin, it would probably already be "perfect".
