Cemu 1.3.0 is available now! Download can be found on the website. Direct link: Cemu 1.3.0
Changelog said:
  • Added support for GPU7 geometry shaders
  • Improved support for 2D texture arrays and cubemaps
  • Generally improved shader emulation
  • New debug option: Dump textures and shaders

I didn't have much time to work on Cemu the past three weeks and @Petergov was away as well. Nevertheless, I managed to make good progress with the rendering backend.

Aside from the visual improvements, there is now an option to dump textures and shaders to files (Saved to /dump/ directory). You can use this feature if you want to rip textures. I doubt dumping shaders is useful to anyone, but it was no extra effort to add. Regarding texture dumping there is limitation though, all textures are output as unsigned 24-bit RGB, so depending on the internal format there can be quite a loss of precision. I'll look for a better solution in the future.

Edit: Just for clarification, I know some games look worse in this release. It's a side effect of improved emulation. Visually, a broken effect is usually worse than a non-existing one. While technically it's the opposite.

nice work, but to be hones i don't see a big change, the fps in mario kart 8 are still the same and toad treasure tracker, hyrule warriors and mario 3d world don't work. But don't understand me wrong i really appreciate your great work.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
