So this cake_mset9.x allows us to boot this cfw though the mset exploit on a 9.2 sysnand system? without downgrading to 4.5,
Without looking at it, it would look like to be an MSET downgrader as there is no public 9.x MSET exploits, but yeah this would allow an offline method of booting the CFW on 9.x

sysNAND 9.2, but mset must be the 4.0 version. The rxTools mset downgrader seems to install that one, so you get to avoid fiddling with 3dsnus.

You'll lose at least NNID management (but the data is still there -- eShop should still work as expected). Not sure if the latest mset and mset 4.0 differ in any other significant way.

did anyone manage to install the cake ROP via the code.bin file ?
all i get is a error has occurred message after about 10 seconds but the MSET exploit is not installed.

9.2 Sysnand, MSET downgrade done via rxTools.

Can you test with this? Let me know if it works, thanks.

Yup

Can you tell me what happens when you ran code.bin?
my browser ver: 1.7567 (if it helps)
This is what i did:
0) put code.bin and patch.bin in root of SD
1) cleared history and cache
2) launched an NDS game for safety sake (to clear out anything)
3) visited http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/rop/?LoadCode4.dat&code.bin via QR
4) browser crashed after roughly 6 seconds and gave the usual "error has occurred message, please save and restart the console"
5) checked NDS profile settings in system settings
6) Actually enter the NDS profile settings.....
7) help me ......

Ok after some extensive testing, I got some good news some bad news.
good news !
the above URL does the trick and installs some thing when i use it with your code.bin and patch.bin

bad news
when i enter NDS profile settings.
I get an error has occurred message and the console force reboots into the home menu

Sorry it turns out the patch.bin is busted. Have to wait for mid-kid to come back online to help and update his code.bin with the new ROP for 9.2. I'll try and fix my version (this is the one provided by the anon contributor) as well in the mean time.

Thank you for your time and help :)

could someone tell me how to modify the cdn_frim.py (as in what to edit) so that it downloads the 9.0 firmware.bin ?
else how to download 9.0 firmware.bin using 3Dnus.

It starts to build now. But now I get this:

"File c:/devkitPro/msys/patches/signatures/patches.s not found"

Also for whatever reason, when downloading the zip file for the source code, the pk3ds folder is not included in it and I have to download it separately.

I know it's the top_dir. But I don't know how to change that comamnd. Just putting the path to the source folder doesn't work.
