- You only ever reported having issues when exiting the game, you never mentioned cwcheat in those reports.
- You've been reporting that Vita doesn't work since we used the OLD kernel exploit, the github user reported an issue using the NEW kernel exploit. It is IMPOSSIBLE that you report same issue on both the NEW and OLD kernel exploits, they are completely different. So no, your report is not the same as the other report.
Again, I didn't report CWCheat because I didn't even have it (and I still don't) since I don't want it, so how could it be known the same problem would happen with it? Also, you ignored me when I reported I had this issue when running PSP games and you ignored me as well when I said I still had it but now when exiting PSP games using the PS button.
How come it's impossible since I said I had the same issue on both OLD and NEW kernel exploits because I said I'm having it for a long time and the GitHub user also said it had it since the first PS Vita's standalone ARK-4 version (so that includes BOTH kernels), even posted photos of the issue and you even admitted the NEW kernel exploit was a bit unstable in nature (also, you've been ignoring this GitHub user too)? So, yes, my report is the same as the other one.
And what about "4.19.8 Infinity" appearing in "System Software" and in the Custom Launcher's "CFW Settings" and "Settings" on the PSP and "CFW Settings" and "Settings" on the PS Vita/PS TV instead of "4.19.9 Infinity" and the "UMD Region Change" setting not appearing in the PSP's Recovery Menu and inside XMB's "Custom Firmware Settings" as well as the other settings?
EDIT: According to the GitHub user, a black screen appears on the PS Vita/PS TV if setting "Force Extra Memory" to "Always".
EDIT 2: ARK-4 sometimes freezes in the "ChovySign" part with a C1-2858-3 error message after installing ARK-4 via the new FasterARK method and running it on the PS Vita and the PS TV and it sometimes has a black screen for some seconds when running PSP ISOs until it crashes with a C1-2858-3 error message.
EDIT 3: I have the previous issue if ARK-4's "Memory Stick Speedup" is set to "Always" after reinstalling ARK-4 via the FasterARK method. I'll set it to "Disabled" and remove Adrenaline and its plugin installed via AutoPlugin II. This new FasterARK method unlike the previous FastARK one doesn't install the Sasuke vs. Commander game if no PSN game/demo is installed and doesn't require a PSN game/demo (like Ape Quest's demo) to be installed before being run as well.
EDIT 4: I have a C2-12828-1 error message after making a clean ARK-4 install in my PS Vita and PS TV via the FasterARK method and running VitaShell. If clicking "OK", the PS Vita and the PS TV freeze with a black screen. If I access Safe Mode to restart them or rebuild their database, they have spinning white dots until they freeze. I have no choice but to restore them from Safe Mode, to jailbreak them and to reinstall all my games and homebrew. I'm tired of ARK-4's developers' incompetence. As if this wasn't enough, now FasterARK installs an app to run PS1 games called ARK-X and a plugin called ps1cfw_enabler and users can't even refuse them. I removed the former and uninstalled the latter via AutoPlugin II (and removed FasterARK as well).
EDIT 5: I have the same problem after restoring my PS Vita and PS TV and jailbreaking them. A new ARK-4 version was released and yet it also causes this issue.
EDIT 6: Finally, the issue was fixed after a new PS Vita standalone ARK-4 release. I'll still have to reinstall all my games and homebrew on the PS Vita and PS TV, though. I don't get why PS Vita's ARK-4's "Memory Stick Speedup" is set to "Always" by default when it causes said issue.
EDIT 7: It seems it's "Force Extra Memory" being set to "Always" that makes the european Spider-Man: Web of Shadows – Amazing Allies PSP ISO on PSP's ARK-4 freeze when exiting it using the PS button and the PSP to restart some seconds after. I'll set it to "Disabled", then.
EDIT 8: PS Vita's/PS TV's standalone ARK-4's updater often doesn't find new ARK-4 updates even when they were released. I have to close ARK-4 and run its updater until it finds them.
EDIT 9: Now FasterARK is installing another plugin against my will (arkrightanalog). Wtf?
EDIT 10: After reinstalling ARK-4 via the FasterARK method and running it, ARK-4 sometimes freezes in the "ChovyProject" part with a C1-2858-3 error message, and when running PSP ISOs, it sometimes has a black screen for some seconds until it crashes with a C1-2858-3 error message. I have this issue if ARK-4's "Memory Stick Speedup" is set to "Always" (it's set as such by default). I'll set it to "Disabled".
EDIT 11: When using PS Vita's NoPspEmuDrm plugin, which is needed if the FasterARK method is used, no PSP plugins are needed to play PSN content. If the ChovySign method is used, then PS Vita's NoPspEmuDrm plugin or PSP's npdrm_free and nploader plugins or npdrm_free_mod and nploader_mod plugins will have to be manually installed (either the PS Vita plugin or two of the four PSP plugins. Installing the NoPsmEmuDrm and npdrm_free and nploader plugins or NoPspEmuDrm and npdrm_free_mod and nploader_mod plugins is redundant). On the PSP, both npdrm_free and nploader plugins or npdrm_free_mod and nploader_mod plugins are needed for compatibility with encrypted (whatever this is) PSN content. All this (in both PS Vita and PSP cases) only go for encrypted PSN content. If the PSN content is decrypted (which apparently can be done with any PC tool), then no plugin is needed (or if the PSN content is legally owned).
EDIT 12: I tried installing NoPspEmuDrm's plugins on PSP's ARK-4 and nothing happened when I click them so I'll install nopdrm_free_mod and nploader_mod plugins.
EDIT 13: The "ICON0 in Browser" setting freezes PS Vita's ARK-4 if "Enabled" when scrolling PSP ISOs on "Files". I can exit ARK-4 via PS button and close it, but when reopening it or opening another app, it lags a lot, so I'm forced to restart the console and set "ICON0 in Browser" to "Disabled" for it to not have both issues.
