Use the system's built in formatting and you won't have to reinstall anything (except homebrew cias and games, but you can always restore your NAND backup to go back to how it was).
I'm having trouble figuring out how to exit the 3DSX version. Pressing the home button seems you cause it to freeze and start does nothing either. I end up having to reboot with Rosalina.

Pressing home works for me with the 3dsx version

guys, I have installed Fire Emblem IF Japan, unfortunately it has an update nag popped out.
when I tried to update from freeshop, the game itself is not listed in "my installed game list".

Is it normal for out of region game is not listed in "our installed game" in freeshop? (I have US 3ds).

for the record:
I have freeshop 3.1.2 and updated enctitlekeys, it shows the latest game available atm.

best regards.

Just update using eshop, there is no harm in updating system re (unless you're using ntr)

thanks for the godspeed reply.
I'm sorry, apparently I forgot to mention that the 3ds was region changed from jap. (reg changed form JPN to US), it cannot access eshop.

You'll have to try to find the update available as a cia. Have a look on that ISO site (I don't know if it is there but it's the best place to look).

What region of ever oasis can you see? I can only see Europe, even though all regions are enabled. Also I did scan the new one, it gives you a dropdown, I clicked the gq one and it would keep it as selected.
I can only see the European one, but that may be because I deactived anything besides USA, EUR and AUS. According to *gq, there should be the "ALL" region version, with the korean symbols behind the name, that is correct. But if it's not in the cache, then it's not in Freeshop. Just install it via FBI directly from that site then, if you badly want this version over the EUR one.

Yeah I tried that a while ago, but it actually crashes when I try to launch it. Probably should post the log in a separate thread.

Oh my bad... Sorry.
I was just kinda confused because its been a while since anything has been added to it
Remember that that requires people to buy games and add their titlekeys to the database, and for the owner of the database to check and encrypt them.

The last cache update was 4 days ago

Due to the bootrom dump, the owner of the titlekey database no longer needs to manually encrypt. Keys can be verified and encrypted all on PC automatically, and my understanding is that he has already implemented that

i recognize some terms its hard for understand for unfamiliar scene people but when you understand all its user-friendly

it tells me i need a system update to be able to sleep download, any reason why ?

EDIT : Nevermind found out i have to be on latest 3ds fw

Is it safe to use freeshop now? Because the banwave is getting people who use homebrew online right? And you need to be online to download titles.

If you've disabled the Spotpass and Friends List settings, using freeShop comes with minimal risk. There also hasn't been another banwave since May. If you're paranoid, it's recommended you use the homebrew application version of freeShop with Rosalina on Luma3DS. That should disguise its use.
