2/ Put an URL linking to the encTitleKey.bin file on the freeShop's Settings > Update > Auto-update title keys from URL.

Sorry but I dont understand this.

I had a previous version of the freeshop and it worked fine but wanted to update it for obvious reasons however I don't understand this line of the instructions.

If I check this setting I already have a URL there pointing to an address... What should I do?

If you already have an URL set then you can skip that

My 'obvious reasons' where because the old fork was no longer able to be worked on any more.

OK! Thanks for letting me know. I am not sure what is happening here but I have been reported and I am not happy about why I am being asked why I want to use a fork that is being updated and no longer use a fork that is no longer updated.

The original free shop will never be updated again for reasons I'm not mentioning. arc13 took over the project. In 3.0, new keyboards were added, storage meters were added, theme support is being added, and sleep mode downloads are on the way.

Pinging @arc13. Maybe it could be useful to implement a DSP Dumper inside freeShop/detect wether DSP has been dumped or not and disable/enable music depending on that.

Yes, the cia format dsp dumper is brand new and since the source comes with a permissive license I have a feeling that freeshop and other homebrew that needs the dsp will be updated to dump it themselves if the dsp file isn't already present.

Do you think there's a way to add support for game mods? People would be able to add their mod packs for things like smash 3ds or Mario Kart 7. It may not be easy to do but it would be pretty cool. Maybe instead of a cia file it just downloads the mod files onto the root of the SD card instead.
