Sure it is...helpful to prevent you from getting grief in the future for having a nasty screen . As for your error, it sounds like you're setting everything up correctly, so I'm not too sure why that would be happening.[/QUOTE

Yeah I'm guessing the N3DS of things is the culprit

hello, i been trying for hours converting lego star wars force awakens and kirby roboto 3ds to cia do i have to check the fw box and leave the same numbers with letters or uncheck it? I'm on 9.2, and the games do not load just gets to the splash 3ds screen, im still new to this any help would be great thanks!

update, i got star wars to work on one of the 2ds, i did the same step on another one i have and it takes me to the 3ds splash screen, both 2ds have the 9.2, :/

Oh, I think you have misunderstood me. You still need a 3ds to generate the Xorpad, do you not? I was asking for a way to directly convert a .3ds to .cia on Windows (if it were possible)
if the game is encrypted there is no way around using a 3DS to generate xorpads or decrypt something.

Decrypt9 can dump and decrypt games now, but you'd need to use something else to convert because this program doesn't support decrypted roms.

Sorry if this was stated clearly before, but what options do you select in Decrypt9 to generate XORpads from ncchinfo.bin?
