In any case,
If you can't access eshop (no GW),
and don't have any apps installed at all,

I'll suggest for you to take a break, and wait for any genius to make an improvement to the CFW.
It'll probably take some time, don't expect it to be soon™

but all the content dl with the CFW disappears.

Exactly. Your SD card will be restored to as it was before you did any of this.

So as long as you have the folder with the app downloaded, it works.

Which also mean that as long as you've downloaded an app before and it shows on your menu, it'll work.

Yes, but you also have to install the corresponding rop loader every time you switch.

That's not what we're talking about. We're talking about it having to connect to Govanify's servers to download a few files.

I think it's easy enough to find that out using some king of internet traffic sniffer to find out what goes in and out of your internet connection...

they used that a while ago to grab ID and other info's on the ps3 back then before it was patched

Yess!!!! I managed to install the devmenu with no problems. Booted right into the rednand both times, didn't have to do a single restart.

No idea. I just tried it with L pressed and it worked. Started the ctrclient and that worked, then I rebooted and ran the exploit without L pressed and it worked.

Or you could use this and encrypt the launcher, that way it should work with Gateway's ROP loader.

Ah, did you install a demo from the Eshop or it just worked with out that step? If that's the case I might have a chance then haha.

I actually found some old copies of the extdata from another emunand that I copied over. But the titles don't have to show up in the 3ds menu.

Same for me first, I restored my emunand + gateway launcher, updated it, downloaded something on eshop, then restored again my nand (on sector 1) + cfw launcher.dat (this one works without rop multiloader http://gbatemp.net/threads/release-3ds-cfw-cia-installer.373461/page-30#post-5143977) and it worked.

Heads up! Those with out gateway to access the eshop on the latest emuNAND do this.

If you create two text files in

 sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/<id0>/<id1>/dbs/

And rename them to title.db & import.db. Go into system settings, abd attempt to "manage" the software on the sd card. The 3ds will tell you that some data is damaged, and wants to repair it. This creates the sd card data so you can install things to the sd card, like devmenu. No need for eShop.
