Homebrew reinand 3.1 freezes at boot emunand screen

I'm on an n3dsxl running it with ctrbootmanager. I used armips and, I have the latest firmware.bin. the boot image shows up but when I press start, it doesn't do anything. what could be going on with my n3ds? (placed it in blue for style)

Latest is 3.2, don't use a new firmware bin on a different cfw version , plus since 3.0 it auto boots so the press start option was removed

what 3.2 files do I need to replace the 3.1 files?

and how long does it take to auto boot? I waited for a minute and it didn't boot...

probably better to delete the old "rei" and "reiNand.dat", and place new ones.

its been on a black screen for 7 minutes... what should I do??

I replaced the old files with new ones but, it has been on a black screen for 20-30 minutes since I tried to boot emunand?

you sure you got a new firmware.bin? try replacing it anyway

yes, I deleted the entire old rei file and placed the one in from the 3.2 file...

replace the firmware.bin with a new one anyway just to see. it's linked on GitHub.

omfg!!!!! it turns out I didn't even place the new firmware.bin in the rei folder
