Regarding Mixtapes

If it's a CD of someone freestyling of other's beats, is it still against site rules to uplaod? The instrumentals are available for free download so it's not like any of it's illegal. Reason why I'm so cautious, is because I made a CD cover for my friend Roger, who released his first today - and we trying to get him noticed one day.

Of course mixtapes aren't illegal. It's an artist giving their music out for free.

Nobody is going to sue an underground rapper.
And I do think it is against the law to use a beat that a producer has made...
But still, no one is gonna sue your friend.
