So I just got around to booting up my wii u again for the first time in a while and when i went to boot rednand from the hbl it takes me to the Welcome to rednand! screen and freezes. Tried restoring to a backup of my sd card I had hoping that would work bc something may have been wrong with the fw.img but I ran into the same problem. I looked around for other threads and couldn't find anything concrete or something that worked for me so I came around to making my own thread. Thank you guys in advance!
What firmware are you on? The fact that it says welcome to rednand shows that it’s not set up, and you need to set it up. Do you still have the sd card in the Wii U? If so just try make sure you are on the latest version 5.5.2 and set up haxchi, or CBHC. Use mocha CFW for rednand, and try to reformat the sd card and follow the instruction on how to set up rednand again.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
