The DS Lite rom's extension is .nds right? And is the DSi rom which is the My Healthy Cooking Coach suppose to be .dsi?

Plesse correct me if I am wrong, and also one more thing, in the program when u select DSi Rom and browse for the dsi rom, the file type is "NDS (.nds file)" how come the file type is not dsi? cuz I cannot see the .dsi file if the "NDS (.nds file)" is selected, do I change the type to "All files" and choose the .dsi rom?

yes, cuz when I downloaded my healthy cooking coach, it is .dsi and NOT .nds, but when I click on the browse button in the program for DSi Rom, the extension it is looking for is .nds

do I change to "All Files" then choose the .dsi rom?

EDIT: So when I gett he my cooking coach file, it should already be .nds??

I'm not sure, the rom I got was .nds, and it's the one I used for the bootstrap

try it and see what happens, see if it'll give you the BOOTUPDT.EVO file

Try renaming the .dsi file to .nds, then make the bootstrap file. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to find one that's already .nds when you download it.

Nope, it's not allowed. I don't know exactly how it works, but I think the bootstrap contains proprietary information extracted from both ROMs, which makes it illegal to host on this site.

The fact that the file isn't included with the iEvo and that you have to make the file yourself out of illegal content is the very basis for the iEvo being a "legal" flashcart.

I've encountered releases of My Healthy Cooking Coach with the .dsi extension. In the program which creates the bootstrap just select which file extensions are allowed after you get the window to browse which file to use (for the DSi rom). it's a drop down menu in the lower right hand side of the window.

Change it from NDS Rom (*.nds) to All Files (*.*) and you will now be able to select your rom file.

This is confirmed working by me to create a working bootstrap file.

Both .dsi and .nds file extension roms work fine.

Just curious then, how is the embedded version of the iEdge 1.4.1 bootstrap allowed? Cuz u need a rom for the iedge 1.4.1 update, and it is said in the program options that u can embed the rom into the program, thus no need for the rom anymore, and all u do is click update and no need to browse the rom, is that not the same idea for the ievo?
