Hacking [Realease] ReiNand Cfw

I mean I hope someone can help me out... i'll create a video in the morning since i'm too exhausted to do it now.

But I don't understand, it should be in the same slots as when it was on the sysnand before the format correct? And after the format, sysnand will have nothing and emunand SHOULD have the cia in the slots that they were in before in the sysnand, but now on the emunand correct? :/

Okay i'll go to doing that, but currently I have a problem

So I originally had a emunand and decided to start over because I couldn't install any cia files with the fbi installer.

So I installed fbi, bigbluemenu, savedatafiler and the multipatcher.
I was told that installing them from pastacfw would put it on the sysnand and when I formatted the emunand again that it should be on the emunand... but when I formatted it and went to ReiNand, there is nothing installed...

Think as you've installed CIA installer successfully on SysNAND, for example FBI installed. Normal things when u format EmuNAND from GW:
0. SysNAND: FBI ticket. SDCard: FBI content. No Emunand now.
1. Format: Duplicate all those SysNAND into EmuNAND. So it copies the tickets from SysNAND and put them into EmuNAND.
2. However, SDCard is totally formatted after Format to have an emunand with GW. So, FBI content lost during that.
3. If i copy the original content back into the SDCard. Since ticket is ready, and content there, the app should exist.
4. If i unlink both NANDs, when plug out the SD and "format" the 3DS the ID varies and thus no connection between both NANDs.
So i thought you've forget to copy the data back to your SD. When in ReiNAND, there are tickets without any contents responsible, so no app.

Note: If i made a wrong response - sorry for such problems. Here it is so hot to get brain working normally.

Eh.. If the content lost, and both stay linked, the tickets get invalid and no apps neither.
Please tell me if you could find those apps there.

Okay I deleted the Nintendo 3DS folder that was currently in there (actually just removed everything from the SD), put everything back in that I backed up before doing so and it now shows up in the emuNAND.

Also how do you activate firmlaunch?

I tried using firmlaunch on pastacfw but it still wants me to update fire emblem if to 9.7 firmware...

Eh. There is free-multi-patcher for such things.
Also i own no N3DS. I play those on RxTools with MSET on my 4.1 O3DS.
Now, since you've copied back those, is there any apps on ReiNAND as expected?

I ran it, I have e-shop spoof on, region patch on, and no auto download on and then I pressed START to apply.

Do I run the game that I want to play next?

Such might be an issue related to free-multi-patcher.
I'm not sure where the update package comes from. Maybe already on your SysNAND..
You may need to talk to @RednaxelaNnamtra for clues.

Well i'im utterly confused =.=

Can someone explain how to run games on pastacfw that require higher firmware? I read you need to activate firmlaunch by holding L when launching pastacfw and going to options and enabling it, (idk how to apply it).
And then apparently I need to have firm.bin or something in there? Where do I get that.
but, this thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/howto-run-9-3-encrypted-games-on-pastacfw.391259/ says that I don't need to enable firmlaunch and just need to update/repair my game, but I have a physical version, does that not work?

Nothing makes sense :V, been trying to get things to work for the past 8 hours...

I'm using a Physical cartridge of Fire Emblem If that i'm trying to play with firmlaunch...

At the moment it doest patch ns to ignore game updates of the same region with a higher firmware, but I will add it, after i found out the return values that I need to patch. After that it still will only work, if its doesnt have dependencies on features of the newer firmware.
To get the return values I will downgrade my 3DS in the next days to 4.5 try n error a bit.

I just get a black screen every time.

Here is a strange one, if the wifi settings differ from sysNAND to emuNAND, it always goes into black like yours so I have to make them match. My emuNAND wifi is always OFF and if I boot from sysNAND with wifi ON, it crashes. It's boots perfectly when sysNAND wifi is OFF though... strange.

You need to format an emuNAND using the gateway launcher first. You can find many guides on this forum.

So as soon as I'm booted into reinand, I'm using emunand, correct? There's no way to use reinand in sysnand?

Asking because I booted into reinand and moved a folder and when I boot back into sysnand the folder is in its original spot making me think the two aren't linked but I'm not sure how they're not since I never unlinked emu and sysnand in the way I used to with gateway

Thanks. I just formatted my sysnand with no card in there so emunand and sysnand would be unlinked

But now I am wondering, all the stuff I had installed to sysnand...is that now wasting storage space somewhere on my microsd card that I should be deleting?
