The real time save just means that you don't need to close your game to save, it doesn't mean you can save/load anywhere.

When they were talking real time saves, they were not talking about making save states. By real time saves, they were talking about actually writing the save file without doing the old "Press Home and then X to close and save."

I see.. a shame.. wish it had real save states xD would be perfect then
