ahhhhh i understand now, i didnt realise it could work both ways... Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I think what you say makes much more sense now.
I think most things i do on my switch will be normal playing and online etc. dont care for piracy as much as i did with the 3DS.
The only thing ill use homebrew for is save management and occasional save editing, perhaps the odd games in the emulator.
So may as well upgrade and if i need to edit a save or backup etc. which wont be often then boot up emunand, rather than booting into the legit firmware i will use often...
and if there is an update where nintendo can detect things in the future then we switch the "Legit" horizon to emunand and not update the eMMC..

is it over board to run nx-dreport after every hekate boot just incase?
