I have this question too, my right Joycon seems not to charge or discharge faster (?)
Well, to make my reply a little more correct, if it's in the dock and in sleep, it charges for sure.

I don't remember in handheld mode. Maybe they charge when they are low only.

So, just to be sure, you need a depleted joy-con and test sleep-handheld/AutoRCM/RCM/hekate

Nothing yet.

You can upgrade and not have a warmboot CFW (where you don't need a dongle).
Or you can wait for atmosphere emunand and upgrade an sd card image of your switch's eMMC to play online.

In my case, I'll just upgrade, because I don't care for warmboot. (I use my phone when I'm away and I'm also waiting for my tiny "modchip"'s parts).
And I'm gonna use an internet disabled emunand for the CFW experience.

Can i ask why your going to use internet disabled emunand? do you have no interest to play online etc.?

also what do you mean by sth? and how can i check is a save has sth?

Many thanks for all the help!

Because my fast eMMC will continue to house the stock fw with online play.
Not the opposite.
Of course I care for online. But emunand will have the CFW with a white-listed (domain/ip) style internet.

I said before, I don't care to trigger RCM manually without warmboot.

In savefiles, by something, I mean a value, an item or whatever, is checked online.

ahhhhh i understand now, i didnt realise it could work both ways... Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I think what you say makes much more sense now.

I think most things i do on my switch will be normal playing and online etc. dont care for piracy as much as i did with the 3DS.
The only thing ill use homebrew for is save management and occasional save editing, perhaps the odd games in the emulator.
So may as well upgrade and if i need to edit a save or backup etc. which wont be often then boot up emunand, rather than booting into the legit firmware i will use often... :yay:

and if there is an update where nintendo can detect things in the future then we switch the "Legit" horizon to emunand and not update the eMMC..

Thank you for explaining things although the information is out there its hard to piece it altogether sometimes..

P.S.

is it over board to run nx-dreport after every hekate boot just incase?

Yeah sth like that. But you still don't need to swap the legit fw. We are still going to patch future checks.

Yeah, it's overkill to run it every time. nx-dreport is only if and only if you had a crash from a homebrew and you want to wipe the error reports. But you should have the upload disabled (settings), in the first place.

Can you elaborate on how to disable the error reports from being uploaded?
I looked under the settings but I didn't know where's it under.
Thank you!

Scroll to the end.

It exists since 2.0.0. It was the first thing I disabled.
I'm running 3.0.0 "Initialize" is the very last thing I have under the System tab?

Weird. I could swear I remember it since 2.0.0.
It was added in 4.0.0?

Hmm, anyway, I don't know if 3.0.0 uploads them without asking though.
