Hacking R4sdhc kernel too low issue

First and foremost, thanks in advance if you offer any help.
Now, as the title says I'm having some issues with my R4iSDHC Dual-Core 2013 Model (the one with the spongebob icon, from the r4isdhc.com website).
I can boot into the flashcart menu just fine, but I can't boot any games, all of my games just show a white screen upon bootup (the flashcart worked just fine prior to the 7.0.0 update).
The flashcart uses the same (atleast I think it's the same) kernel as the R4i Gold flashcart (__rpg + _DS_MENU.dat) and I tried using it, but this one just hangs as soon as I boot the flashcart (black screen).
FYI Homebrew boots just fine on the kernel from the r4isdhc.com website (Wood 1.62).
If anyone can post a DL link for a kernel that works on this flashcart model and doesn't hang upon booting a game I'd appreciate it.
