Hacking R4iGold Pro cannot generate .cc files for cheats

Hello, I recently purchased an R4iGold Pro and it works great except for the fact that cheats cannot be used. I tried enabling cheats on the main settings, in the game's info but when I've chosen the cheats to activate and launch the game, it simply freezes or does not load the cheats. I'm fairly certain it's because the .cc file cannot be generated because with my previous R4, it always requires a .cc file to be made first.

I am using the latest firmware for the R4iGold Pro which works for 3DS XL version 6.1.0-12. I was wondering if there was any external methods to create .cc file that works for it.
