Hacking R4i Unlimited Upgradeable?

Ok so i had this r4 for a while, but i updated my DS and it won't work anymore so i go to the website there and found out it is updated so yay, but it still won't work! Anybody can help this poor soul? btw this is the r4i http://img.lightake.com/image201102/sku_43886_1.JPG

The update is fake. I just tried it on my cart and no If the maker doesn't release a update no one will.

In my opinion, just don't touch an R4i, not even with a stick.
There are millions of R4i's available, all of them are fake, and none of them will last for a long time.
Acekard 2i or Supercard DSTWO are the Flash Cards of choice.

The ones from R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) seem good, they release updates quickly and it supports Wood R4. There's another team that are quick with updates too (and support Wood R4) but I'm not sure what their site is. So far it seems to last, but AK2i has the least chance of dying out of all the flashcarts because it gets the most community support. It costs a bit more though, with no obvious advantage since AKAIO and Wood R4 are very, very similar. The time when all cheap (and clone) flashcarts received poor support or stopped receiving support after a while seems to have passed by the looks of it.

When you say you got the r4i unlimited upgradable to work, do you mean on a 3ds? It only works on my dslite as of right now, i can't figure out how to get it to work on my 3ds.
