Hacking R4i troubles

I'm sorry for my total noobishness but I got an R4i a while back and I finally got a micro SD card for it today, but I'm having trouble getting the games to boot. I'd search through the forums but I honestly have no real idea what to do since this stuff is way outside of my knowledgebase. Everything else seems to be working fine but the games aren't booting up. All I'm getting is this error screen.

Moonshell doesn't support launching roms out of the box.
