Hacking R4i Revolution B9S Card

Hey Guys!

I bought a used DSi XL for my kids with firmware 1.4.5e.

I also go a R4i Revolution B9S, same as in attached picture



My first question is if this is the wrong card for the DSi XL?
If not, how can i use it? i´m not in it for advanced features just for my kids gaming, nothing else.

Been trying to figure it out all night, any suggestions?

That flashcart is built for NTRboothax for the 3DS, however you can use it as a normal flashcart. The only issue with that is the fact that flashcart is one of those flashcarts with time bombs. That thing will not work next year of September, only way to fix/avoid that is either setting the date backwards or using YSmenu.

I hope you have a 3ds lol.

Otherwise that card will be stuck on 3ds ntrboot mode and won't work on the dsi.

Ok, september is a long time. So how do i do this operation? i found no good guides.

You're screwed then.

If you had a non-DSi DS you could flash it with another flashcard but I suppose you don't have either of those.

Ok, thats too bad! i will contact the reseller. The product says "R4i Revolution B9S 3DS for DSi, 3DS, 3DS XL".

You may try to find someone with a 3DS and use that to flash it to the expected behaviour.
