Homebrew r4i ndisll revolution corrupt.. need help!

i have a Nintendo Dsi LL (jap ver.)

i try to update my r4i v1.42 to v1.43

but when it goes to 20% it hangs

so i turn it off

and when i turn it on

the r4 menu goes blank?

is there a way to reformat the r4?

How does the updater software act?
Does it directly updates the card when you run it, or does it let you switch cards?

Because in the second case, you might be able to run the updater program on another flashcart, then switch it to your R4i and unbrick it.

But it'd be recommended to just buy another flashcart, since that one is a Krappy Klone

uhm.. my mom just bought this DS last week
so i dont know so much about it. sorry..
i just started to read threads here last wednesday.

what do you mean by card? you mean the game card or ...?

i only had 1, the r4 only..
