Hacking R4i gold's "3ds setup" problem

this menu bricked my 2 ndsl
B was "proceed" and A was "cancel"... how horrible.


after that, ndsl cannot enter the setting menu
and when battery is removed, it bricks... what the...
is there any way to solve this?

and I wonder why r4i gold doesn't work on korean 3ds.

If you have (or can get) and old flashcart (skipping the DS intro/startup screen/whatever) supposedly you can reflash the two:

An old Action Replay also can do the skipping (and boot your R4i Gold afterwards without applying any cheats)

Once you have some flashcart started, use Flashme or Noflashme to restore the broken firmware. (If you are not familiar with that, take your time reading about Flashme and how to use it).

Edit: Do not remove the battery from the second DS that shows part of the menu. Maybe it can still start games and the R4i to load Flashme.
