Hacking R4i GoldPlus. Cant soft reset from hombrew(works for games)

Running the latest wood kernel
WOOD R4 V1.64

I tested a few emulators and DSftp
I cant seem to make the soft reset work, I tried the same key combination but it never does the trick
It does work on regular games though

any suggestions ?

There is an additional option in the settings to enable softreset for homebrew. Try to activate it.
Can you use other homebrew like DSCraft or fireworlds?
Maybe try to format the SD if that didn't work.
