Gaming R4i Gold 3DS RTS and NDSi Mic

So I was wondering if the mic for the ndsi works with
my R4i Gold. I have the newest wood firmware and all
my games I play are working. It's just when I play
Pokemon Platinum, and try to set a sound to the move
"Chatter", it doesn't pick up my voice or anything.
So I was just wondering if the mic even works with the
flashcart because I could see that being a problem for
future games I may play that make the mic necessary.

It should work, do you have a retail game that has a mic tester in it?

try lost in blue 1 the first thing you have to do is make a fire and you have to blow into the mic
